Rockin Rivets

Skill Level: Beginner/Intermediate

If you have been collecting beach glass, shells, river rocks or beads that don’t have holes, I have creative ways to make them useful. This class will offer hands on experience with a flex shaft and how to properly use it. Students will learn how to drill several pieces and create rivets for a great finish! Most students will finish at least 3 pieces. Stones will vary in color and size.

Kit includes:  beach glass pieces, SS tubing, SS JR’s, 18” chain, drill bit (If student breaks bit during class, they will be responsible to purchase a replacement for $7.50)

Students must bring:

1. Flush cutters
2. Eye protection
3. Black Sharpie – fine tip
4. Chain nose pliers
5. Super grip gloves (optional)
6. Magnifying glasses and Ott light as needed
