This year we are going to have classes set up a little differently. We’ll start earlier and have more sessions offered. We’ll also have students and teachers bring a sack lunch so that we can have a class during the lunch time. We want to ensure each teacher gets time off to take a class or just take a break. This is the schedule we are looking at:

- Beading 101 – Elaine Kelty – Beginner/All Levels – Bead Stringing – 2min/8max
If you missed this at Bead Bazaar, or just want to brush up on your wrapped loops, stringing and crimps, come improve your technique and make a bracelet and/or earrings. Great Handouts.
- Beaded Beads – Jesse Bockhouse – Advanced Beginner – Right Angle Weave & Netting – 6min/10max
This is a fun class where you will learn to make a beaded bead using seed beads and crystals.
- Beaded Buttons – Kathy Mitchell – Beginner/All Levels – Bead Embroidery – 2min/6max
Learn to create unique beaded buttons using basic bead embroidery techniques. Students will try out various techniques and practice attaching the beaded fabric to the metal button form.
- Beaded and Sequin Christmas Ornament – Janet Kay Skeen – Beginner/All Levels – Design – 5min/10max
This is a fun and easy class where you will use pins, sequins and beads to cover a Christmas ball.
- Beginning Chain Maille – Marc Palan Beginner/All Levels – Chain Maille – 5min/20max
While making their chains, students will learn how to make and close stretchy half Persian 4 and GSG bracelets. The class will focus on teaching good plier techniques and the differences between weave families.
- Crystal Column Pendant – Kaitlin Tarr & Kaitlyn Vigil – Beginner/All Levels – 2min/10max
This is a fun and easy class that incorporates wire, crystals or other beads to create a unique pendant.
- Leather Wrap Bracelet – Pat Daniels – Beginner/All Levels – Stringing/knotting – 2min/8max
Learn to make a contemporary leather wrapped bracelet using leather, beads and silk cord. It is finished with a button clasp. The class will focus on a single wrap bracelet but you will also receive instructions on how to measure for and make multiple wraps.
- Nikia Angel’s Sparkly Wheel – Elaine Kelty – Advanced Beginner – Bead Weaving – 4min/8max
Students will learn how to make bead woven 3-D wheels made with crystals, fire polished beads, pearls and seed beads. Students can use this technique with any combination to make wonderful jewelry to their hearts desire.
- Viking Knit Bracelet – Pat Daniels – Beginner/All Levels – Wire working – 2min/8max
Make a bracelet with 26 gauge wire. Learn the Viking knit technique from a non-Viking!
- 2-Needle Beginning Peyote – Janet Kay Skeen – Beginner/All Levels – Design – 5min/10max
This class will teach a very simple way to execute the sometimes difficult Peyote Stitch . Students will use large beads to conquer this technique. The finished product can be worn as a bracelet.
