Kelly described her journey of beading enthusiast, bead store owner to author and award winning designer! Kelly was humble and practical in her description of how her career changes occurred and how she develops new designs that she sells as kits and classes. We were most fascinated to learn that Kelly has hundreds of U.F.O.s (Unfinished Projects) and how she approaches her creative work day. She shared her wisdom on how to approach trade shows, projects and business when first getting started.
Kelly also taught three classes at TACtile on Friday and Saturday from her cache of hundreds of designs. We enjoyed “On the Side” Necklace, “All Geared Up” and “Concentricity” Bracelet classes. Each one of these projects are great for the beginner and the more advanced bead student alike. If you missed the classes, you may purchase her kits on her website: www.beadparlor.com
