2010 BEAD BAZAAR

HOURS: Saturday 10-6, Sunday 10-5
$5.00 admission EACH day
The Denver Merchandise Mart is where the Denver Gem & Mineral Show, the second largest show of its kind in the world, got its start.
The venue is easy to find, there is plenty of parking, and the sales tax rate is under 5%!
Beading 101 and Demonstration Partnerships
with Local Bead Shops
At previous Rocky Mountain Bead Bazaars, many shoppers asked where they could find certain products and classes locally, following the Bead Bazaar. In response, RMBS will offer two venues for Local Bead Shops (who are also RMBS Business Level Members) to partnership with RMBS at the 2010 Bead Bazaar.

HELP WANTED
the Bead Bazaar needs YOU!The RMBS Bead Bazaar is one of the longest running and most successful bazaars in the nation. It requires thousands of volunteer hours to create and sustain an event like this. We are asking that every member consider giving six hours of their time to help us succeed. We are offering the same great incentives to help everyone get on board. If you sign up for one three-hour shift (or only two hours for beading 101), you will get free admission to the Bazaar for both days plus a fabulous bead handmade by Phyllis Kenyon who is a nationally known glass bead maker. If you sign up for two three-hour shifts (or two two-hour shifts with beading 101), you can also come to the wonderful dinner that is being held on Saturday night, April 24. This dinner honors our vendors, teachers, and the hard working volunteers who make this event happen.
We have the following categories that need volunteers on both Saturday and Sunday:
- Book Table
- Admissions
- Volunteer sign in and information table
Shifts for the above are 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., 12:00 to 3:00 p.m., and 2:30 to 5:30 p.m.
As mentioned, Beading 101 has two-hour shifts that count for the same amount as the three-hour shifts. Beading 101 shifts are 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., and 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Please email Betsy Ellis or call (303) 666-5381 and specify which shift and type of job in which you are interested. You will receive a reply to let you know if that is available. Naturally, if you have no preferences, we will place you where you are most needed.
