Typically, for beading classes you might consider bringing scissors, beading pad or trays, needles, thread, worklight with extension cord, and magnifiers (if needed).

Class Description: The Sea Urchin Basket utilizes flat-circular and tubular herringbone weave with increasing and decreasing while incorporating Czech pressed glass pendants. Class Description: Make a Beauty with some silks and bond with her as you embellish you/her with beads, sequins, crystals, silks. Learn Igolochkoy and beading techniqwues and applique. Kit includes: Beading and sewing threads, silks, stuffing, beads, and use of Igolochkoy (Russian Needlepunch) needles in class. Igolochkoy needles are available for purchase. Class Description: Make a pendant by framing fused glass in gold or silver wire. Learn Master wire wrap pasics and develop your unique style. Kit includes: Illustrated instruction book, sterling silver or 14k gold fill wire (student's choice), glass cabochon, polishing cloth, sharpie marker, work mat, ruler. Items provided for use in class-wire working tools, masking tape, and scissors. Supply List: Students may bring their own wire wrap tools if they have them. Class Description: Learn on of the most useful stitches in beadweaving. Make samples of tubular and flat peyote and learn about various threads, beads, waxes, etc., and how to read a chart. Class Description: In this class we will be making basic beads with polymer clay. We will go over the skinner blend and use rubber stamps, paints, powders, gold foil, etc. Kit includes: Storage box, tissue blade, roller, baby wipes, choice of clay, hand-outs. This will be a very fun intro to polymer clay bead making and its various uses. Supply List: Students should bring their imagination, anything they may have from their stash of polymer products, and any tools (if they have them). Class Description: The Flores necklace was designed in Saraguro, Ecuador, and features blended colors in either brights or pastels. The student will learn the Saraguro netting technique used in all their designs. Kit includes: Total of 60 grams of size 11 seed beads in 15 colors, 2 size 12 beading needls, and neutral colored Nymo D thread. Class Description: Learn a different ladder start for herringbone stitch, then 3 stitches -- tube, spiral, and twisted ribbon. Just a slight variation exists among them. Class Description: In this class wel will do the basic stringing technique, learning the correct way to use crimps, and make a bracelet using a variety of "stuff." Got an old class ring lieing around? Some nuts and bolts, pop bottle caps, or other found objects? Bring them and learn how to incorporate them into a piece of unique jewelery. This technique may be used for a necklace, if you prefer. Kit includes: Jump rings, soft flex, bead for button, thread, wire, variety of accent beads (large and small), lock and key for closure, and some good junk. Supply List: Students should bring their tools of they have them, such as pliers, crimp tools and cutters, sharp scissors, some junk out of your stash to share with other students that might include odds and ends of beads, stuff you find on the street, and your sense of humor. Class Description: The flattened shape of lentil beads accentuates the overall pattern of herringbone weave. You will start a bracelet and be shown finishing techniques for the bracelet and broach. Class Description: Learn how to make a bead and chain necklace and earrings and how to use the plastic-coated filament wire and crimps. Most students will complete this project in class.
