She has taught at the Bead and Button Show yearly beginning in 2000 as well as for the Bead Society of Greater Chicago and at a number of bead stores in the Midwest. Beginning with brick stitch, Mary made one amulet and didn't pick up a bead for almost two years. Then peyote stitch and Delica beads entered her sphere and there was no looking back. Mary sells her work at bead shows and her work has been at Foothills Gallery Gift Shop and Holiday Mart. She has been published in Beadwork magazine several times. Her work has appeared in local shows and was juried into the "Focus on Glass" show. She teaches out of her home and at local venues, enjoying passing along her passion for beads and beadweaving.
