You may view most of the actual class projects at meetings of the RMBS and at the Registration Desk at the Bazaar.

Please read "Kit" and "Supply List" information carefully!

Typically, for beading classes you might consider bringing scissors, beading pad or trays, needles, thread, worklight with extension cord, and magnifiers (if needed).

Class Description: Create an eye-catching bead-embroidered cuff while learning creative design, bead-embroidery, and finshing techniques. Class Description: Using a form of circular netting and spiral rope stitch, students will create a beautiful textural necklace. Other applications for this technique will be demonstrated and discussed. Mandatory Kit: The kit will include all supplies to complete the project. Class Description: Learn how to do bead embroidery with a bezeled cabochon and how to use that cabochon to inspire designs. Mandatory Kit: The kit will include all supplies to complete the project. Class Description: A variation of the Oglala Butterfly stitch adding a beautiful pendant and using French boullion to attach the clasp; students may choose to do either a simple or an extended version. Class Description: The Ruffled Beaded Bead is created by building layers of various colors to make a beautiful and substantial beaded bead to wear on a cable or incorporate into a necklace of your own design. Mandatory Kit: The kit will include all supplies to complete the project. Supply List: Students should bring size #10 and #12 needles, size-D Nymo thread, scissors, Thread Heaven or beeswax, and a bead mat or dish. Class Description: Learn one of the most useful stitches in beadweaving. Make samples of flat and tubular peyote. Learn about various beads, threads, waxes, etc., and how to read a chart. Mandatory Kit: Kit includes beads, thread, needles, vellux beading pad, and a 12-page booklet (Pocket Peyote). Supply List: Students will need to bring scissors.

Class Description: Make a pendant by framing fused glass in gold or silver wire. Master wire-wrap basics and develop your own unique style. Class Description: The Curl is a wonderful Sculptural Peyote technique for a pendant; combine this with this afternoon's Pop-Bead Toggle class for a wonderful necklace. Class Description: A silver bracelet never goes out of style! In this class, you will learn to make a beautiful sterling silver bracelet from twisted wire, beads, and dangled embellishments. Class Description: Get rid of the vinyl! Embellish a classy leather checkbook cover, glasses case, or business card case with your bead design. Master the simple blanket stitch to enclose the sides. Class Description: Using photos, explore how to create and cut up new designs as well as colors pertaining to Bead Finishes. Mandatory Kit: The kit will contain three overlay sheets ("how-to"), photos for practice, and a tracing pad. Class Description: Assemble a crystal charm bracelet as you become skilled with wrapping loops, making connections, and making dangles. Loops offer an additional design technique for your creations. Class Description: Beaded roses, glass leaves, and fire-polished crystals combined with a Native American zig-zag stitch result in a beautiful necklace. Once you've mastered the roses, you'll find many ways to use them. Mandatory Kit: The kit will include all supplies to complete the project. Supply List: Students need to bring scissors, thread conditioner, and a bead mat. Class Description: Create two self-supporting beaded beads with Swarovski crystals. Students will learn to make a small window-bead (truncated octahedron) and embellish the bead with cubes in two variations. Skill Level: Some general beading experience is required. Mandatory Kit: The kit will include Swarovski 4mm bicone crystal beads and monofilament to make two embellished beads. Supply List: Students should bring scissors, size #12 beading needles, sharp-pointed tweezers, and chain-nose jewelry pliers.
